Director of Engineering, Hilton Garden Inn, Aghdam

Job Summary:

The Director of Engineering at Agdam Hilton Inn Hotel is responsible for overseeing all engineering operations, including maintaining the building, grounds, and physical plant with particular attention towards safety, security, and asset protection. The Director of Engineering will manage the engineering team and ensure that all hotel facilities are in optimal condition to provide a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff.

Responsibilities:

·        Oversee the daily operations of the engineering department.

·        Develop and implement maintenance programs to ensure the proper functioning of all equipment and systems.

·        Manage and supervise the engineering team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.

·        Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to building and safety codes.

·        Coordinate with other departments to address maintenance and repair needs.

·        Develop and manage the engineering department budget.

·        Implement energy management and sustainability practices to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.

·        Ensure the proper functioning of HVAC systems, BMS (Building Management Systems), electrical systems, plumbing, and fire safety systems.

·        Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify and address maintenance and repair needs.

·        Respond to emergency situations and provide technical support as needed.

·        Bachelor's degree in Engineering .

·        Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.

·        Strong technical knowledge of HVAC systems, BMS, electrical systems, plumbing, fire safety, energy management, and sustainability practices.

·        Excellent leadership and management skills.

·        Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

·        Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·        Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

·        Proficiency in computer-aided facility management software and other relevant tools.
