Ferrum Capital, the first independent factoring company in Azerbaijan, is announcing a vacancy for a Data Scientist.

Ferrum Capital LLC was established in 2017 as the first independent factoring company in the Republic of Azerbaijan and as a member of the AGA Group of companies, with the aim of providing factoring and other financial services to local and international companies.

Required Technical Skills

The ideal candidate should be familiar with and have practical experience in the following areas:

• Python programming language
• Machine learning and deep learning algorithms and methodologies
• Libraries and frameworks including Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, and Transformers
• Design and development of question–answering systems and chatbots
• Working with Large Language Models (LLMs), including fine-tuning and optimization
• Implementation of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques on LLMs
• Development of applications based on RESTful architecture using Flask or FastAPI
• Containerization and deployment of projects with Docker
• Version control and project management using Git
• Preparation of clear, well-structured, and practical technical documentation

Basic familiarity with MLflow and dashboard development tools (considered an  advantage)
