Audit Senior

·      Understanding and applying the knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISA)

·      Understanding and applying the knowledge of International Accounting and Financial Reporting Standards (IAS and IFRS)

·      Leading audits and reviewing audit work performed by junior staff

·      Performing more complex sections assigned and preparation of audit work papers

·      Effectively communicating with the client personnel and engagement team

·      Assisting senior in-charge and / or manager on different client and engagement matters

·      Allocating work in accordance with audit qualification levels to ensure the due performance of an engagement

·      Informing seniors in-charge, managers and partners in due time of audit results. In the event of audit-related issues, making suggestions to resolve them in accordance with Bakertilly requirements

·      Preparing audit engagement deliverables in accordance with Bakertilly policies and procedures, indicating all weaknesses discovered during the work process and making suggestions to management to address them

·      A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field

·      ACCA qualification (F1, F2, F3) and F7, F8

·      Fluent written and spoken in Azerbaijani and English, knowledge of Russian is an asset

·      Good knowledge of accounting

·      Proficiency in using office applications: (MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point, Outlook)

·      Minimum 3 (three) years of relevant experience in the audit practice

·      Experience in supervising, planning, execution and reporting on audits of financial statements prepared in accordance with IFRS

·      Organizational and delegating skills
