Senior Design Lead & Solutions Archigtect

Senior Design Lead & Solution Architect is responsible for establishing and leading the end-to-end solution design and architecture across all streams of the Smart Gas Grid Transformation Program. The role holder will first understand the program objectives, current state, IDP scope, and rollout vision through structured onboarding and stakeholder engagement, and subsequently define and govern the target architecture and design approach aligned with the program’s core objectives of UFG identification, reduction, and operational excellence.

• Understand program objectives, IDP status, and rollout roadmap

• Establish baseline and target-state architecture

• Lead end-to-end architecture across all Smart Gas streams

• Ensure design alignment with UFG reduction and operational excellence

• Define cluster selection and reconciliation approaches based on global best practices

• Lead Technical Design Committee and design governance

• Ensure IDP designs scale to nationwide rollout

• Own integration architecture and interoperability standards

• Act as technical authority for stakeholders and vendors

Qualifications:

• 12+ years in utilities / smart grid / AMI programs
• Experience in gas or power utilities preferred
• Strong multi-stream architecture leadership
• Fluent in Azerbaijani and good level of English (written and spoken); Russian is an advantage.
