Event Manager

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Event Manager for our Primary International School to join our team.

• Planning, and execution of all school events such as international day, sports day, cultural festivals, fundraisers, exhibitions, olympiads, competetions and etc.;
• Develop event themes and formats that align with the school’s culture and educational goals;
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors, negotiating contracts for services including such as catering, audio-visual equipment (IT) and etc.;
• Maintaining regular communication with other relevant departments within the company;
• Prepare detailed budgets for each event;
• Implement and monitor safety protocols to ensure all events are compliant with health and safety regulations;
• Coordination and supervision event staff, Art teachers and Music teachers, including volunteers and external contractors;
• Provide training and briefings to ensure staff are well-prepared for their roles;
• Networking and engaging with people to select event locations and disseminating essential information to other departments;
• Writing scripts for events and collaborating with teachers and administrators as necessary;
• Designing certificates and planning award ceremonies for these academic events;
• Stay updated on event trends, technologies, and best practices to bring fresh and innovative ideas to school events;
• Conduct post-event evaluations to determine the success of each event and identify areas for improvement.

Background:

• Bachelor degree is a must;
• 1+ years of experience in event planning and management;
• High level of proficiency in digital event management tools and standard office software.
• minimum English language proficiency of B2 is required.
