Description
- Developing and implementing strategies to effectively manage and collect outstanding debts owed to organization;
- Develop and implement strategies that align with the company's overall goals and objectives;
- Develop and implement effective collections strategies and procedures to maximize debt recovery while maintaining positive customer relationships;
- Communicate with customers regarding their outstanding debts, negotiating payment plans, settlements, or other resolutions;
- Review and evaluate delinquent accounts, determining appropriate actions to be taken in accordance with company policies and legal requirements;
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all collections activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines and internal policies;
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, finance, and leasing, to resolve complex or escalated Preparing / overseeing regular reports on collections & commercial activities, presenting data and insights to upper management. (OCR and sales reports, footfall reports, master data lease agreements ).
Responsibilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics or related field;
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in collections, credit control, or commercial operations;
- Knowledge of lease agreement principles and legal frameworks related to debt collection;
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills, especially in handling sensitive customer cases;
- Ability to analyze financial reports and monitor performance metrics
- Excellent analytical thinking and decision-making abilities;
- Strong organizational skills and time management;
- Ability to work collaboratively across departments;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools;
- Fluency in Azerbaijani and English (Russian is a plus);
- High level of professional ethics and ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
