Site Engineer

• Auditing of fit-out activities of the malls which stores are under construction

• Managing parts of construction projects and overseeing construction work.

• Checking technical designs and drawings for accuracy and to ensure that they are followed correctly

• Daily routine check & control and report of the tenant’s activities.

• Witnessing of testing commissioning works of the upcoming projects coordinating with Mall Operation and team members.

• Doing inspections and preparing snag lists of upcoming and ongoing projects coordinating with team representatives.

• Providing technical advice and solving problems on site

• Creating site meeting with tenants, subcontractors, operators, investors, team members and other stakeholders.

• Maintaining an appropriate communication among all stakeholders which work on the project.

• Update work schedules of ongoing fit-out projects regularly

• Conducts periodic on-site observation of work during fit-out/reconstruction to monitor compliance with plans.

• Technical review of the projects received from tenants in DWG format

• Good follow-up the inspection agenda in the projects.

• Translating and transferring the needs of the leasing department to the construction team or tenants.

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering or related undergraduate degree

• Good planning skills

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in design, construction and/or real estate development sector

• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD

• Fluency in Azerbaijani and English

• Proficiency in MS Office Suite

• Able to do audit of construction activities

• Able to work shift pattern, including nights, weekends and a bank holidays.

• Good teamworking and relationship-building skills

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task

• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical systems in construction field

• Proficiency in 3D modelling and structural programs will be a plus

• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work

• Attention to detail and problem-solving skill

• Ability to work under pressure. Resilience, persistence, and a willingness to cope with rejection.

• Working well as part of a bigger team, but also be able to deliver and work independently.

• Being self-disciplined: high level of adherence to the company requirements, such as code of conduct, dress code, etc.
