Fit-Out Engineer

• Supervise and coordinate daily fit-out and finishing works on site in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules.
• Monitor site activities related to architectural finishes, ceilings, partitions, flooring, painting, joinery, and interior installations.
• Ensure fit-out works are executed in compliance with approved quality standards, mock-ups, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of activities.
• Review shop drawings, material submittals, and technical details related to fit-out works before execution.
• Monitor material usage and site productivity to ensure efficient utilization of resources.
• Conduct inspections and identify defects, non-conformities, or workmanship issues and ensure timely rectification.
• Coordinate with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure compliance with quality and safety requirements on site.
• Prepare daily progress reports, work updates, and site documentation related to fit-out activities.
• Participate in snagging, testing, commissioning support, and handover processes related to fit-out scope.
• Support planning and sequencing of fit-out works to avoid clashes and delays with other trades.
• Attend coordination meetings with project management, consultants, and subcontractors regarding fit-out progress and technical matters.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Education:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Specific areas of expertise:

Fit-out execution, interior finishing works, shop drawing interpretation, site coordination, quality control, and construction detailing.

Work experience:

Minimum 5–7 years of experience in fit-out and finishing works within construction projects.

Language and computer programs knowledge (Microsoft Office):

Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office

Fluent in Azerbaijani and English.

SPECİAL REQUIREMENTS

Strong understanding of interior fit-out materials and construction methods.

Ability to read and interpret technical and shop drawings accurately.

Good coordination and problem-solving skills on construction sites.

Understanding of quality standards and finishing tolerances.

Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
