Description

  • Prepare and update project schedules in coordination with site and technical teams under the guidance of senior/leading planning staff.
  • Monitor and report progress of works against the approved baseline schedule, identifying variances and contributing input for corrective actions.
  • Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly progress reports, ensuring accuracy of data and clear presentation of findings.
  • Collect, verify, and summarize site progress data, including quantities, man-hours, equipment usage, and productivity indicators.
  • Identify potential delays and critical path impacts and escalate issues to senior/leading planning personnel.
  • Participate in developing look-ahead schedules and short-term plans for daily/weekly site execution.
  • Coordinate with cost control, procurement, and technical teams to ensure progress data is aligned with material availability, resource plans, and budget updates.
  • Maintain and update progress measurement systems, ensuring accuracy in physical and earned progress tracking.
  • Prepare and maintain resource histograms, manpower curves, and basic productivity reports.
  • Ensure proper documentation, filing, and organization of all planning-related data, schedules, logs, and correspondence.
  • Support improvements to internal scheduling templates, reporting tools, and data collection processes.

Requirements

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.

Specific areas of expertise:

Project scheduling, progress tracking, resource management, and planning analysis.

Work experience:

3–5 years of experience in project planning within construction projects, preferably in large-scale developments.

Language and computer programs knowledge (Microsoft Office):

Fluent in Azerbaijani and English;

Proficient in Primavera P6 and/or MS Project; good knowledge of MS Excel and reporting tools.
