Job Overview:


Define and maintain quality standards, checklists, and inspection frameworks across the project portfolio. Identify early quality risks in design and specifications, review functionality, serviceability, and maintainability of project designs, and track defect trends to feed lessons learned into corporate standards.


Key Responsibilities:


1. Quality Standards & Frameworks

  • Define and maintain corporate quality standards, checklists, and acceptance criteria
  • Develop inspection and testing frameworks and corporate defect taxonomy
  • Maintain quality KPIs across the portfolio


2. Design Quality Review

  • Assess design completeness and specification clarity at concept and detailed design stages in terms of quality
  • Identify early quality risks (design gaps, unclear specs, missing or inconsistent standards)
  • Review designs for functionality, serviceability, maintainability, and operator/end-user requirements
  • Challenge design assumptions in coordination with the Cost & Scheduling colleagues
  • Coordinate quality control work through site quality control team and attend site inspections frequently


3. Defect Tracking & Lessons Learned

  • Track defect patterns across projects, contractor scopes, and asset types
  • Analyze recurring quality issues and root causes
  • Feed insights into updated standards, checklists, and benchmarks
  • Support handover quality assessment and close-out review



4. Portfolio Quality Reporting

  • Consolidate quality status across projects for portfolio-level reporting
  • Flag high-risk projects to the Head of Technical Office
  • Support stage-gate reviews with independent quality assessment

Requirements

Technical:

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or civil engineering, or related discipline
  • 10+ years of experience in quality control on real estate projects
  • Strong understanding of construction specifications, materials, finishes, and trade interfaces
  • Experience with inspection and testing protocols and defect management
  • Familiarity with international quality standards
  • Experience in high-end residential, hospitality, or mixed-use projects preferred
