Risk Specialist

PASHA Real Estate Group is looking for an Risk Specialist to join our team.

The Risk Specialist will support the implementation of enterprise risk management activities across the Group, contributing to risk assessments, risk reporting, monitoring, and the development of risk mitigation initiatives. The role will work closely with business functions and operating companies to strengthen risk awareness, support informed decision-making, and ensure alignment with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct enterprise risk assessments covering real estate, hotels, construction projects, shopping malls, and other business operations.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret risk-related data to support informed business decision-making.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business units to promote a risk-aware culture.
• Coordinate and facilitate risk and control assessment workshops with relevant business functions.
• Assess and report on sector-specific and emerging risks in collaboration with relevant departments.
• Prepare risk management reports and coordinate the preparation of Risk Assessment Sheets (RAS) and Risk Control Matrices (RCMs) for operating companies within PASHA Real Estate Group.
• Analyze risk data and prepare detailed risk analysis reports for management review.
• Support the development and implementation of risk mitigation plans and monitor their effectiveness across departments and business units.
• Develop and implement risk management tools tailored to the specific needs of the business and relevant industries.
• Advise business functions on risk control strategies and appropriate risk mitigation measures.
• Support compliance with internal risk management policies, procedures, and applicable external regulatory requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and other risk metrics to identify potential risk exposures and assess the effectiveness of mitigation measures.
• Track and monitor risk indicators and metrics across various projects and business units.
• Coordinate with relevant departments to identify and resolve enterprise-wide risk-related matters.
• Participate in the development and delivery of risk management training and awareness programs for employees.
• Identify operational and enterprise risks arising in business processes in a timely manner and support appropriate corrective actions.
• Maintain confidentiality of information and documents classified as commercial secrets.
• Comply with all Group policies, internal rules, procedures, guidelines, and applicable requirements.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the direct manager.

• Relevant university degree in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Audit, or a related field.
• Relevant experience in enterprise risk management, operational risk, internal control, audit, compliance, or a related area.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze complex information and translate risk data into clear and actionable insights.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and business units.
• Good knowledge of risk management principles, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Fluency in Azerbaijani and English.
