Description
- Organise the daily technical operation and inspection of electrical equipment rated up to 1000 V, distribution boards, cable lines and control systems;
- Promptly identify and rectify technical faults, short circuits and overloads occurring in the electrical network;
- Perform preventive inspections, servicing and repair works in accordance with the Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedule prepared for electrical equipment;
- Ensure the commissioning and serviceable condition of motor starting circuits (star-delta, soft starters), variable frequency drives (VFDs) and automation panels;
- Monitor that electrical works are carried out in accordance with permit-to-work procedures and safety instructions;
- Monitor the efficient use of electrical energy, phase-to-phase load balance and the correct distribution of reserve capacity;
- Coordinate the work of subordinate electrical fitters and service personnel and exercise technical supervision over the execution of assigned tasks;
- Maintain maintenance logs, technical inspection reports and equipment passports for electrical lines and equipment on a regular basis;
- Prepare requisition lists for the electrical materials and spare parts required for repair and maintenance (circuit breakers, contactors, relays, cables);
- Strictly comply with occupational health, electrical safety and fire safety rules and ensure that subordinate personnel observe these rules.
Requirements
- Higher education (Electrical Engineering, Electrotechnics or Power Engineering);
- Minimum 5 years of experience in production/electrical engineering;
- Electrical Safety Authorisation Group for installations up to 1000 V (or Group IV); Occupational Health & Safety certificate;
- Electrical installations up to 1000 V, PPM system, distribution boards, motor control schemes (VFD/soft starter), Electrical Installation Code (Rules for Installation of Electrical Equipment);
- Azerbaijani (fluent), Russian or English (technical);
- MS Office, AutoCAD (for single-line diagrams).
