Description
- Perform technical repair and routine maintenance of water pumps used in tobacco farming operations
- Ensure optimal performance of irrigation systems by regularly inspecting pumps, replacing parts, and troubleshooting mechanical issues
- Conduct repairs and regular maintenance on various technical units and machinery used in the tobacco cultivation process
- Ensure that equipment such as tractors, planting machines, and harvesting tools are operating effectively
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the agricultural fields before planting by ensuring machinery is properly calibrated and functioning
- Provide agronomic care post-planting, such as ensuring proper irrigation and machine maintenance throughout the growing season.
Requirements
- Higher or professional education: in the relevant field
- Minimum 2-3 years of work experience (work experience in Pivot irrigation system is desirable)
