Description
- Oversee cost accounting processes, including inventory valuation, cost of goods sold (COGS) calculations, and variance analysis for production costs;
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensure timely reconciliation, and supervise the accurate recording of all transactions;
- Coordinate internal and external audits, maintain proper documentation, and ensure adherence to internal controls, tax regulations, and industry compliance standards;
- Keep track of company assets, record depreciation, and update records for new purchases or retired assets;
- Prepare and review production-related tax filings;
- Verify invoices, handle payments, and ensure accurate records for suppliers;
- Monitor and update inventory costs and quantities, ensuring accurate records of materials and products;
- Record and categorize operational expenses like utilities and maintenance for better cost control.
Responsibilities
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field;
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a production;
- Solid understanding of industry-specific accounting regulations, tax laws, and internal controls;
- Excellent analytical skills;
- Attention to detail.
