Senior Risk Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and continuous development of the BPU programme across all subsidiaries of the Group.
• Coordinate with Head Office departments to collect, document, and validate business process information.
• Maintain the process register, process maps, and ownership matrices.
• Maintain and monitor KRI data across all subsidiaries, including data collection, validation, and RAS status updates.
• Prepare KRI monitoring tables and dashboard presentations for management.
• Coordinate the periodic update of subsidiary risk registers and participate in RCSA assessments across the Group.
• Prepare risk management reports and presentations for the Board and the Risk Management Committee.
• Review ERM Policy and Risk Appetite Statement documents and recommend updates where required.
• Respond to data and documentation requests from subsidiaries related to risk management activities.
• Maintain and monitor the Group-wide audit findings register, ensuring entries are complete, accurate, and up to date.
• Follow up with subsidiary contacts and process owners regarding outstanding findings and upcoming deadlines.
• Liaise with internal auditors to obtain clarifications on audit findings and requirements.
• Support and promote the three-lines-of-defence model by guiding subsidiaries on their risk reporting responsibilities.
• Perform other risk management and business process-related responsibilities assigned by the supervising manager.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field.
• A professional qualification or certification in Risk Management or Internal Audit (e.g., CIA, CRMA, CISA) is an advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in risk management, internal audit, internal controls, or business process management.
• Proven hands-on experience in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), risk assessment, KRI monitoring, risk registers, RCSA, and risk reporting.
• Good understanding of business process documentation, process mapping, and process improvement.
• Experience in preparing risk management reports, dashboards, and presentations for senior management is an advantage.
• Experience in the agriculture sector is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience with Power BI or other data visualization tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and take ownership of assigned responsibilities.
• Azerbaijani: Fluent (written and spoken); English: Professional working proficiency; Russian: Advantageous.
