We are seeking a talented and experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring high-quality food preparation and presentation while maintaining a clean, organized, and efficient work environment. This role requires strong culinary skills, leadership ability, and a passion for delivering excellent food to our guests.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Oversee and manage a specific section of the kitchen, ensuring all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards.
  • Prepare ingredients and execute cooking techniques according to the menu specifications and recipes.
  • Monitor the consistency and presentation of food, ensuring it meets the restaurant's quality standards.
  • Supervise and mentor junior kitchen staff and line cooks, ensuring they are properly trained and adhere to safety and cleanliness standards.
  • Work closely with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to ensure smooth operations within your section.
  • Assist in the training and development of new team members.
  • Ensure food preparation areas are clean, organized, and sanitized according to food safety regulations and company policies.
  • Maintain the highest levels of hygiene and cleanliness at all times, including the storage of food items and disposal of waste.
  • Conduct regular checks on the freshness and quality of ingredients used.
  • Monitor and control stock levels within your section, ensuring proper stock rotation and minimizing waste.
  • Assist in the ordering and receiving of supplies, and report any shortages to the Sous Chef or Executive Chef.
  • Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef to create new dishes or update existing ones, contributing creative ideas and culinary expertise.
  • Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality and cost control.
  • Ensure timely preparation of all dishes during service hours, working efficiently under pressure.
  • Maintain the flow of the kitchen, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner and service runs smoothly.


Responsibilities

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role within a high-volume kitchen.
  • Experience working in a fine dining or high-end restaurant setting is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on presentation and quality.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
