Description

  • Always cope with the responsibilities of the brand and provide exceptional service to the guest
  • Provide excellent service to internal customers
  • Deal with complaints and inquiries of all guests and internal customers politely and effectively by making sure that the problems are solved satisfactorily
  • Comply with all relevant rules, policies and regulations of the hotel and company, including credit and payment policies, Guest & Company Data protection as well as local rules, policies, and regulations.
  • Supervise the receipt and execution of all room reservations in accordance with hotel and company regulations.
  • Accept and approve the requirements for room reservations or cancellations through the sale of the right room category, providing general information on the hotel and using upselling methods.
  • Have detailed information on the prices of rooms and shops and the availability of vacant rooms in the hotel
  • Provide necessary assistance to the staff of the Reception Department for the smooth operation of the Department
  • Have detailed information on any new special packages determined during the year.
  • Have detailed information on the use of office equipment, as well as operating systems such as MARSHA, Empower, 3CX, Opera, Microsoft Outlook
  • Assist in the preparation of individual and group reservations, room reservation lists, waiting lists and other reservations
  • Establish strong relationships with all reservation sources and work closely with the Marketing Department to maintain and develop these relationships
  • Accurately record all inquiries within 48 hours, following them with the property and guest or travel agent.
  • Increase the revenues of all types of rooms by presenting upgraded room types and ensuring that the guest chooses a room of superior quality.
  • Sell and advertise all types of room products.
  • Develop good business relationships with local companies, agents, and regular visitors.
  • Receive all incoming calls immediately, with high skill and courtesy in accordance with Baku Boulevard Hotel call standards.
  • Ensure that reservations are entered correctly, check guests' hotel stay dates and billing instructions, and ensure that the guest selects a room of superior quality whenever possible.
  • Make sure the guest receives confirmation information when required



Responsibilities

·        Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with others; demonstrated ability to interact with customers, associates and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand, and the Company.

·        Proven ability to work under pressure and meet multiple tight deadlines.

·        Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and Opera with excellent typing skills.

·        Strong problem solving, analytical, reasoning, motivating, organizational abilities.

·        Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.

·        Confidentiality.

·        Flexible and possess initiative to see all assignments and projects through to completion unsupervised.

·        Fluent in English/Russian/Azeri written and verbal required.
