Description

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to promote the Innovation Centre’s (AIM) offerings to countries and startups, identifying and engaging potential clients such as government agencies, startups, and private sector partners;
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, client needs, and the competitive landscape while building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional service and support;
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals, collaborating with internal teams to tailor innovative solutions that meet client requirements;
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, report on progress towards targets, and actively participate in networking events, trade shows, and industry conferences to promote the Innovation Centre;
  • Stay informed about emerging trends in innovation, entrepreneurship, and startup ecosystems to drive strategic growth.

Responsibilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field;
  • 2-4 years of experience in sales, business development, or a related role, preferably within the innovation or startup sector;
  • Strong understanding of the startup ecosystem and government initiatives related to innovation; 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels;
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment;
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet clients and attend events.
