Finance and Reporting Senior Specialist

Lead timely and accurate reporting for tax and statutory compliance, liaising with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.

Prepare and analyze monthly management reports, including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements, highlighting key variances and trends.

Conduct advanced financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and provide actionable insights to management.

Oversee and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant accounting records in alignment with internal policies and regulatory standards.

Review and authorize vendor payments in line with 3-way match principles, ensuring accuracy and control.

Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial deadlines are met and deliverables are accurate.

Partner with cross-functional teams and provide senior-level financial guidance to support business objectives.

Drive enhancements in accounting processes, procedures, and internal control frameworks, ensuring efficiency and compliance.

Monitor and interpret changes in financial regulations, advising management and implementing necessary adjustments proactively.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA is a plus);

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, Background in Big Four or similar audit/consulting firms is an advantage;

ACCA/CIMA qualifications is a plus;

Solid understanding of Tax and Accounting regulations;

Advanced Excel skills / Power Query and experience in SAP (preferred);

Fluent in Azerbaijani and English (written and spoken);Russian profeciency level.
