IT Infrastructure Supervisor

Manage and ensure availability, performance, and security of data center infrastructure supporting AMI systems (HES/MDMS)

Act as the primary interface between vendors, customers, and project teams for IT and smart metering solutions

Review and validate infrastructure/network requirements; oversee readiness, capacity planning, and performance optimization

Coordinate installation, configuration, and commissioning of AMI applications, networks, and M2M SIM connectivity

Monitor and troubleshoot system/network performance, ensuring compliance with cybersecurity, backup, and recovery standards

Manage project deliverables, risks, and documentation; facilitate approvals and ensure smooth handover to operations

Drive continuous improvement by identifying process gaps, recommending optimizations, and ensuring adherence to quality standards

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field

Minimum 5 years of experience managing data centers for critical infrastructure projects

ITIL, Cisco, or Microsoft certifications preferred

Strong knowledge of AMI network protocols, cybersecurity, and M2M/IoT communications (preferably in utility projects)

Expertise in cellular network technologies, SIM management platforms, and virtualization (e.g., VMware), storage, backup, and cloud integration

Fluent in Azerbaijani and English; Russian is an advantage
