Managing Banquet Operations

• Supervises and coordinates all banquet activities to ensure events are executed according to established standards

• Oversees room setup, service delivery, and breakdown of banquet functions

• Ensures compliance with Marriott brand standards, policies, and procedures

• Monitors service flow and adjust operations to meet business demands

Leading Banquet Team

• Provides direction and leadership to banquet associates

• Conducts daily briefings and ensures clear communication of event requirements

• Trains, coaches, and develop team members to enhance performance and service delivery

• Ensures adherence to grooming, uniform, and professional conduct standards

Ensuring Exceptional Customer Service

• Serves as the primary contact for clients during events

• Ensures guest expectations are met or exceeded through attentive and personalized service

• Handles guest concerns promptly and effectively

• Maintains a strong presence on the floor to engage with guests and monitor satisfaction

Coordinating with Other Departments

• Works closely with Culinary, Sales & Events, Stewarding, and other departments to ensure alignment

• Participates in BEO (Banquet Event Order) meetings and event planning processes

• Ensures accurate communication of event details and last-minute changes

Managing Financial Performance

• Assists in controlling labor costs and operational expenses

• Ensures efficient use of resources, equipment, and supplies

• Supports achievement of departmental revenue and profitability goals

Maintaining Standards and Compliance

• Ensures compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards

• Follows all company policies, including safety and security procedures

• Maintains cleanliness and organization of banquet areas

Tələblər

Education and Experience

• 2-year degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel Administration, or related field; 4-year degree preferred

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in banquet operations, preferably within an international hotel brand

• Previous supervisory or management experience required Skills and Competencies

• Strong leadership and team management skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills

• Customer-focused with attention to detail
