Provide guidance and support to Junior AR team members and oversee the quality of their work

Ensure accurate and timely transfer of City Ledger data from Opera to the AR Opera System

• Verify City Ledger folios against system backups for accuracy

• Check and update Bank Statements for pre-payments, deposits, and AR payments

• Monitor PM folios, identify discrepancies, and report them promptly to the Front Office Manager and Director of Finance

• Prepare Proforma Invoices upon requests received from Reservations/Sales

• Events and Group Reconciliations

• Manage the process of preparing all City Ledger invoices and dispatching within 5 working days

• Post and allocate received payments in AR Iscala and PM system

• Review credit applications for creditworthiness and provide feedback to the Sales Team within 15 days

• Follow up on payments with debtors and communicate with customers via phone, email, mail, or in person

• Investigate and resolve customer queries regarding billing in a timely manner

• Assist the line manager with month-end closing procedures

• Update and submit the AR Ageing Summary Report to the Director of Finance

• Prepare account statements and coordinate confirmation with debtors

• Lead weekly Credit Meetings with the Sales, FO and Reservation Team

• Post rental and additional revenue charges

• Monthly providing of Tax data related to revenue part to Tax Reporting team. 

Tələblər

Higher education in Economics or Tourism – essential

• Minimum 2 years of professional experience in a similar role (experience in hospitality is an advantage)

• Strong proficiency in hospitality systems as Opera; and also MS Office applications, especially Excel

• Solid experience with email communication, legal systems, and document management

• Working knowledge of accounting software such as

Strong understanding of accounting principles, taxation, and basic legal matters

• Leadership qualities with the ability to make decisions and take responsibility

• Excellent communication skills

• Fluency in Azerbaijani, Russian, and English (spoken and written)

• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail

• Ability to optimize and improve AR processes
