Manage an effective stock control system for all store areas overseeing end of month reports and stock levels held.
Work pattern as per Azerbaijan law of 40 hours per week, as business requires
To ensure that goods, contracts and services are procured at the lowest cost, highest quality and optimal service for Jumeirah Bilgah Beach Hotel, Baku.
To regularly review high cost items, continually re-source products.
To increase cost effectiveness by researching new products and reporting detailed results to the management.
To pro-actively explore new solutions to enhance the company’s standards.
To supervise the overall purchasing operation.
To manage the Purchasing team performance reviews
To communicate effectively to the team any feedback from hotel meetings
To welcome change and embody positive attitude while communicating to other departments.
To liaise with and maintain good relationships with external consultants and industry contacts, representing the hotel at industry events as necessary.
To maintain the procurement system ensuring that all purchase orders are completed correctly and authorised by the appropriate signatories.
