Director of Finance

Absheron Hotel Group is looking for a talented and experienced Director of Finance to join the pre-opening team of Meysari Grand Hotel & SPA.

As a Director of Finance, you will play a key role in driving financial performance, ensuring strong financial controls and governance, supporting strategic decision-making, and partnering with the hotel leadership team to achieve operational and commercial objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all Finance and Accounting operations, including budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, cash flow, P&L, balance sheet, and management reports.
• Ensure strong internal controls, accurate financial records, and timely month-end and year-end closing.
• Monitor revenue, costs, payroll, purchasing, inventory, and operational expenses.
• Provide financial guidance to the General Manager and department heads to support business decisions.
• Manage external/internal audits, banking relationships, and financial risks.
• Lead, develop, and supervise the Finance team.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of Finance experience, including 3–5 years in a senior management role.
• Professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, CMA, DipIFR, or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of hotel financial management, budgeting, forecasting, P&L, cost control, and internal controls.
• Strong analytical, leadership, commercial, and decision-making skills.
• Good command of English; Azerbaijani required. Russian is an advantage.
• Pre-opening hotel experience is highly preferred.
