To assist in the effective management of the Learning&Development unit, to ensure that the necessary training courses are effectively provided to the hotel staff, and that all policies and procedures set out in SOPs are strictly followed.
- Assist in the development and updating of internal SOPs and training forms for the Human Resources Department.
- Participate in in-department reporting meetings.
- To support the hotel's focus on service excellence and true hospitality by providing training and helping other staff to provide excellent and sincere service to guests.
- To provide professional, courteous and caring services to hotel staff and guests at the appropriate level.
- Active participation in the design and implementation of all means of communication by employees.
- Ensure that all internal rules and instructions are provided to employees in a timely and effective manner to ensure their effective implementation.
- Actively promote training activities between the company and hotel staff.
- Develop an annual training plan for the hotel and make recommendations on the annual calendar of the Human Resources Department.
- Plan monthly training activities in accordance with the established budget and annual training plan.
- Assist the executive committee and department heads in identifying training needs within each department.
- Coordinate and monitor the hotel's training plan and in-department training plans
- Assist in the development of Standard Operation Procedures of the hotel and the department.
- Assist in monitoring the internal standards set out in the internal operations manual.
- Actively promote and present existing training materials among hotel staff.
- To ensure maximum use of internal trainers in each department and the effectiveness of their training sessions.
- To work on Marriott International training platforms, involve employees in trainings, obtain reports on completed trainings.
- Assist employees with questions and issues related to Marriott International training platforms.
- Always be prepared for Marriott International audits.
- Regularly conduct brand trainings and check the level of knowledge of employees.
- Maintain close and professional working relationships with employees at all levels within the hotel, with a special focus on employee safety and development.
- To implement the Employee of the Month / Quarter / Year program.
- To ensure highest standards in regards to appearance and hygiene as well as to follow standards on personal care of the hotel as well as of the department.
