Legal Counsel

·        Investigate cases of illegal collection, processing, and failure to ensure the protection of personal data, and send inquiries and requests to the relevant parties for this purpose;

·        Evaluate the legal violations identified in the field of personal data and participate in the implementation of measures provided for in the legislation regarding this matter;

·        Prepare documents related to judicial cases in the sector (appeals, objections, motions, complaints against decisions, etc.);

·        Participate in administrative proceedings related to the sector's activities;

·        Represent the Service in legal matters related to the violations at court and third parties;

·        Provide legal opinions when responding to inquiries related to the sector's activities;

·        Participate in the preparation of procedures, documents, and reports related to the sector's activities;

·        3-4 years of work experience in the field of Law;

·        Knowledge of the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Administrative violations, and normative legal acts, Data protection;

·        Experience in court representation and legal consulting companies is an advantage;

·        Knowledge of international and regional standards for personal data protection, especially GDPR, is desirable;

·        Experience in the application of Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Administrative violations is desirable.

·        Language skills (Advanced Azerbaijani and English, Russian is an advantage).

Working schedule: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM (5 working days per week).
