Payments & Accounting Intern

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Payments & Accounting Intern to join our team and gain practical experience in banking operations, payment processing, and accounting activities.

As an intern, you will support the team in daily payment operations, transaction processing and reconciliation, while gaining hands-on experience in maintaining financial records and supporting accounting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily payment processing and payment-related operational activities.
• Support the reconciliation of bank transactions, payments, and accounting records.
• Assist in reviewing and verifying payment and transaction data for accuracy and completeness.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of accounting documents, reports, and financial records.
• Assist with invoice and payment processing and related documentation.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate records in internal systems.
• Support the team in identifying and resolving discrepancies in payment and accounting records.
• Communicate with relevant internal departments regarding payment and accounting-related matters.
• Assist with other accounting and payment operations as assigned by the team.

• Bachelor’s degree or final-year student in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles, financial processes, and payment operations.
• Strong interest in banking, payments, finance, and accounting.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with numerical and financial data carefully and systematically.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Willingness to learn and develop practical knowledge of banking and accounting processes.
• Proficiency in English and Russian is an advantage.
• Previous internship or work experience in banking, payments, finance, or accounting is an advantage, but not required.
