The Senior Reward Specialist at Competo will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing reward strategies that support business growth, talent attraction, and retention. You will lead the creation of a transparent, market-aligned compensation framework and policies while partnering closely with People & Culture leaders and business stakeholders to ensure reward programs drive performance and engagement.
This role combines hands-on execution with strategic design, helping to build Competo’s total reward approach from the ground up and embedding best practices aligned to our evolving business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement a market-aligned grading structure and salary bands using benchmarking data and competitive market insights;
- Develop, document, and communicate clear policies and processes for salary reviews, including guidelines for on-cycle increases, off-cycle adjustments, and promotions;
- Partner with People Partners and Talent leads to co-create the reward components of performance management, including how performance impacts bonus and salary reviews;
- Conduct regular market and internal pay equity analyses to ensure competitiveness and fairness, recommending adjustments as necessary;
- Support leadership and managers with compensation-related queries and decisions, providing clear guidance and data-driven recommendations;
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design and evolve total reward offerings beyond base pay, such as bonuses, benefits, and recognition programs;
- Monitor reward trends and best practices in the online marketplace and tech sectors to ensure Competo remains competitive and compliant;
- Lead projects related to compensation system improvements, ensuring scalability as Competo grows;
- Provide analytics and reporting on compensation metrics to inform decision-making and business planning.
