Group Reporting Specialist

As we expand our presence in Azerbaijan, we are seeking a Group Reporting Specialist who will be responsible for coordinating the group reporting process across multiple entities, ensuring timely, accurate, and IFRS-compliant financial reporting. The role requires a hands-on finance professional with strong IFRS knowledge, the ability to collect and validate information from different business units, perform consolidation-related adjustments, follow up with stakeholders, and support management with reliable financial information.

• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual group reporting processes.
• Collect financial information from subsidiaries, branches, and business units.
• Review submitted financial data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Perform consolidation support, including intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, reclassifications, and reporting adjustments.
• Ensure reporting is aligned with IFRS requirements and internal group accounting policies.
• Follow up with local finance teams to resolve gaps, inconsistencies, or delayed submissions.
• Support preparation of consolidated financial reports, management reporting packs, and reporting schedules.
• Assist in reviewing accounting treatment for complex or non-standard transactions.
• Maintain reporting templates, checklists, and group reporting timelines.
• Support external audit coordination by preparing schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Identify process gaps and support improvements in reporting quality, timelines, and controls.
• Work closely with finance, tax, treasury, and operational teams across the group

Qualification & experience:

• 3+years of hands-on experience in financial reporting and IFRS.
• Experience with group reporting, consolidation, or multi-entity reporting.
• Good understanding of intercompany transactions, eliminations, accruals, provisions, and financial statement preparation.
• Experience in audit, Big 4, or a multinational/group finance environment would be an advantage.
• Ability to work directly with subsidiaries and follow up firmly but professionally.
• Experience with ERP/reporting systems is preferred. 
• Strong IFRS technical knowledge, but also able to apply it commercially. 
• Big 4 / audit background plus industry experience. 
• ACCA, CPA, CA, CIMA, or similar qualification preferred
