- Lead end-to-end planning for smart meter, mechanical meter + retrofit, and sensor deployment.
- Work closely with the Cluster Identification Team to integrate GIS-based clusters and survey outputs into deployment plans.
- Develop installation master plans including daily, weekly, and monthly targets for each region or technician group.
- Prepare and manage installation rosters based on technician availability, skill sets, geography, and productivity.
- Plan and coordinate customer-side prerequisites, including obtaining prior approvals through backend calling teams.
- Provide pre-roster lists to backend teams to ensure consumers are contacted in advance before scheduling installation.
- Collect customer approval responses (approved, rescheduled, no-access, refused) and update the final weekly installation roster.
- Ensure only approval-ready consumers are scheduled in WFM or daily installation plans.
- Align rollout schedules with material availability and provide 4-month advance material forecasts for procurement.
- Plan prerequisites for each cluster including permits, access clearance, customer outreach, and readiness checks.
- Monitor daily progress, dashboard updates, trends, deviations, and provide corrective actions.
- Prepare Power BI dashboards for rollout KPIs, productivity metrics, and field performance.
- Identify risks related to weather, material delays, consumer refusals, access issues, or field resource shortages.
- Coordinate with GIS, HES/MDMS, WFM, Integration, and Field Operations to ensure dependency readiness. Support PMO with rollout baseline schedules, WBS updates, forecasts, and reporting.
- Drive continuous improvements in installation planning based on field lessons and analytics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT, Project Management, or related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in AMI/Smart Metering/Utility rollout planning.
- Hands-on experience working with GIS teams, field deployment, and cluster-based rollout strategies.
- Experience in large-scale field deployment or smart grid/telecom/utility rollouts.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Primavera, Jira, Zoho Projects, or equivalent planning tools.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in Power BI and dashboard development.
- Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Professional working proficiency in Azerbaijani and English (Russian is an advantage)
