Technical Documentation Assistant

As part of our strategic expansion in Azerbaijan, we are seeking a Document Controller to manage, maintain, and ensure the proper handling of project and company documentation. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and timely availability of documents in accordance with company procedures and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

·      Translate technical and functional documents from English to Azerbaijani, including Design Documents, FDDs, TOCs, MoMs, SOPs, and reports.

·      Support urgent and priority deliverables during IDP and rollout phases.

·      Work closely with technical leads, architects, and SMEs to validate accuracy of content.

·      Ensure correct and consistent translation of IT, and Telecom, Smart Grid, AMI, Gas utility terminology.

·      Work closely with technical leads, architects, and SMEs to validate accuracy of content.

·      Support bilingual submissions (English & Azerbaijani) as required.

·      Maintain version control and alignment between English and Azerbaijani documents.

·      Adhere to document templates, numbering, and standards defined by the Document Controller.

·      Incorporate feedback from reviewers and ensure timely updates.

Qualifications & Experience

·      Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, IT or a related field.

·      Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in technical translation (English ↔ Azerbaijani).

·      Technical background or prior experience in IT, or Telecom, Utilities, Smart Grid, AMI projects is highly preferred.

·      Experience working with technical documentation, design documents, or system specifications.

·      Strong attention to detail and terminology consistency.

·      Strong proficiency in Azerbaijani and English (written and verbal).
