SUMMARY
The Senior Network Administrator is responsible for managing and maintaining the network infrastructure, including routers, firewalls, switches, access points and related tools-platforms from vendors such as Fortinet, Cisco, Dell, VMware. This role also includes supporting telephony systems, and SIP/GSM gateways. The specialist will support junior infrastructure specialists, create and update topology documents, and communicate with the Global IT team.
KEY DUTIES INCLUDE
- Configure, maintenance, and support of corporate network infrastructure components such as firewalls, switches, wireless equipment and technologies like NGFW, WAF, IPS, SD-WAN, VPN, NAC from Fortinet, Cisco, Dell, VMware.
- Manage and support VoIP systems, including 3CX platform, GSM and SIP gateways.
- Monitor and optimize network performance.
- Troubleshoot network related issues and raise incidents.
- Ensure network security: configuration and backups, firmware updates/patches, security profiles are aligned with corporate standards, industry and vendors best-practices.
- Assist junior network and system administrators and provide technical support and mentorship.
- Participate in projects from a network perspective.
- Manage communications with ISPs and vendors.
- Communicate with global counterparts to resolve issues and implement new solutions.
- Create and update network topology documents and maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations and changes.
- Provide regular reports on system performance, configuration changes, and incidents.
