QA/QC Engineer (Structural & Architectural)

-Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System (QMS) for structural and architectural works, in compliance with ISO 9001, contract requirements, and applicable international and local standards.

-Serve as the QA/QC focal point for civil, structural, architectural, and finishing works on the project, under the direction of the QA/QC Manager.

-Apply project-specific quality plans, inspection and test plans (ITPs), procedures, and checklists to ensure consistent compliance throughout all phases of construction.

-Carry out systematic site inspections, surveillance, and monitoring of structural and architectural activities, ensuring works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.

-Review method statements, material submittals, and technical documentation for structural and architectural disciplines, and verify compliance prior to execution.

-Witness and verify concrete pours, reinforcement, formwork, post-tensioning, waterproofing, and finishing activities, ensuring proper sampling, testing, and documentation.

-Raise, track, and follow up on non-conformities (NCRs) and site observations, coordinating corrective and preventive actions with construction and engineering teams through to closure.

-Coordinate and witness material testing and inspections with third-party laboratories and inspection agencies, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

-Maintain complete and accurate quality records, inspection reports, checklists, and test results for all structural and architectural works.

-Support the preparation and compilation of as-built records, test reports, and handover documentation for the relevant disciplines.

-Interface with site engineers, consultants, PMCs, and contractors on day-to-day quality matters related to structural and architectural works.

-Support internal and external quality audits and contribute to the closure of audit findings.

-Promote a strong quality culture on site and support continuous improvement initiatives.

-Report directly to Project Manager.

-Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Structural, Architectural, or related discipline) from a recognized university.

-Minimum 5-7 years of experience in QA/QC roles on construction projects, with a demonstrated focus on structural and architectural/finishing works.

-Hands-on experience with concrete works, reinforcement, formwork, post-tensioning, structural steel, waterproofing, façade systems, and interior/exterior finishes.

-Experience on large-scale projects such as high-rise buildings, hospitality developments, or mixed-use projects is an advantage.

-Strong knowledge of inspection and test planning, quality documentation, and non-conformity management.

-Good communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with site teams, consultants, and contractors.

-Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; additional languages and experience in multinational environments are an advantage.

-Professional certifications such as ISO 9001 Internal Auditor or discipline-specific quality certifications are considered an asset.
