Senior Business Analyst

• Lead monthly performance analysis of hotels and prepare comprehensive management reports for management.
• Monitor revenue generation closely and identify actionable opportunities for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.
• Conduct in-depth departmental profitability analysis and develop strategies to drive sustainable revenue growth.
• Monitor daily revenue performance and pickup trends, identifying variances, risks, and opportunities, and provide recommendations to hotel management where required.
• Oversee idle asset sales and ensure optimal utilization of company resources.
• Review and evaluate capital expenditure (CAPEX) proposals, providing thorough assessments of project feasibility.
• Lead feasibility studies for new projects and deliver well-structured recommendations to management.
• Drive the annual budgeting process for hotels, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Participate in facility meetings to track technical work progress and coordinate with development, finance and legal departments.
• Provide coaching, guidance, and support to junior team members, including reviewing their work, assisting with skill development, and fostering professional growth.
• Strictly follow internal rules, processes, policies, and instructions, and take responsibility for any violations. Immediately report any accidents, incidents, or dangerous situations to your direct manager.
• Adhere to the company's operational risk management policy. Identify risk factors arising during work processes in a timely manner and take the necessary steps to address them.
• Achieve the annual goals set by the company and agreed upon by the employee

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field (essential).

Professional qualification or part-qualification - ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or equivalent (desirable, and a differentiator at senior level). Postgraduate qualification (MBA / MSc in Finance) an advantage.

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in financial/business analysis, FP&A, or commercial finance, with at least 2-3 years in a senior or lead analyst capacity.
• Direct experience in the hospitality sector - hotels, resorts, or mixed-use assets - with familiarity with hotel P&L structures. Experience in real estate, leisure, or asset management considered where hospitality exposure is limited.
• Demonstrated experience across the core deliverables of this role: management reporting, budgeting cycles, feasibility studies, and CAPEX appraisal.
