Design Architect

JOB ACCOUNTABILITY:

• Develop, refine, and produce comprehensive architectural design concepts, schematic drawings, detailed floor plans, elevations, sections, and 3D BIM models.
• Prepare, review, and verify detailed architectural shop drawings, execution details, and construction documentation using Revit and AutoCAD in full compliance with project specifications and local building codes.
• Inspect on-site architectural and finishing works to ensure construction aligns precisely with approved architectural designs, material specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary design requirements with structural engineers, MEP engineers, facade specialists, interior designers, and site construction teams to resolve spatial conflicts and design clashes (via Revit/Navisworks).
• Review architectural material submittals, mock-ups, finishing technical datasheets, and shop drawings submitted by contractors or sub-contractors.
• Conduct QA/QC inspections on architectural components, identify non-conformances in finishing/layout execution, and enforce necessary corrective action plans on-site.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.

Specific areas of expertise:

• Architectural concept design, space planning, Building Information Modeling (BIM), facade design, detailed drafting, architectural detailing, building envelope integration, and compliance with international/local building codes and standards (SNiP, Eurocodes, IBC).

Work experience:

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in architectural design, drafting (Revit/AutoCAD), and site supervision, preferably within large-scale commercial, residential, hospitality, or mixed-use construction projects.

Language and computer programs knowledge:

• Exceptional proficiency in architectural software: Autodesk Revit (BIM modeling & documentation), AutoCAD, 3D visualization tools (3ds Max, Rhino, V-Ray, or Enscape), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign), and MS Office.
• Strong command of English and Azerbaijani.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Deep technical understanding of architectural material properties, construction details, finishing techniques, and building envelope integration.
• Advanced expertise in Revit BIM workflows to produce precise, buildable execution drawings and parametric design families.
• High motivation, detail orientation, and ability to manage multiple design iterations under strict project deadlines.
• Capability to effectively communicate architectural intent to site teams, sub-contractors, and project stakeholders.
