Cost Controller

SAMT LLC is currently looking for a Cost Controller to join its team.

📍 Location: Sumgait / Khizi

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain accounting records for production costs and ensure accurate calculation of product cost;

Carry out accounting and valuation processes for finished goods, semi-finished products, and work in progress (WIP);

Analyze standard and actual cost indicators and prepare variance reports;

Account for direct and indirect production costs and ensure their allocation by cost centers;

Monitor the accuracy of warehouse and production operations and participate in inventory counts;

Participate in the preparation of monthly and quarterly management reports;

Provide production cost and accounting information during audits and tax inspections;

Coordinate with the Production Department and ensure proper archiving of relevant documents;

Monitor production costs and identify cost-saving opportunities;

Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost-control processes related to production.

Requirements:

University degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a related field;

Minimum 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing company, preferably in cost accounting or cost controlling;

Good knowledge of IFRS;

Good knowledge of ERP systems and Microsoft Office programs;

Written and verbal communication skills in Azerbaijani and English;

Knowledge of Russian is considered an advantage;

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills;

High level of responsibility and effective communication skills;

Strong understanding of production costing, cost allocation, and variance analysis.
