Well Integrity Management:
- Provide technical leadership and assurance for the integrity management of UBOC-operated wells throughout their lifecycle.
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Well Integrity Management System (WIMS).
- Establish and maintain appropriate well integrity operating envelopes, integrity acceptance criteria, and monitoring requirements.
- Ensure systematic identification and assessment of well integrity threats and degradation mechanisms.
- Review well integrity status and proactively identify conditions that may adversely affect personnel safety, environmental performance, asset integrity, or production.
- Develop and maintain lifecycle well integrity strategies from well commissioning through final abandonment.
- Provide technical input to integrity-related engineering studies, design reviews, operational planning, and decision-making.
- Ensure appropriate technical documentation, records, and integrity history are maintained throughout the well lifecycle.
- Promote application of engineering best practices, lessons learned, and appropriate emerging technologies to improve well integrity performance.
Well Barrier Management:
- Establishing, maintaining, and periodically reviewing Well Barrier Schematics and associated barrier documentation.
- Verifying the availability, functionality, and effectiveness of primary and secondary well barriers.
- Assessing the condition and degradation of Well Barrier Elements (WBEs).
- Reviewing and maintaining barrier acceptance criteria in accordance with Company requirements and applicable international standards.
- Assessing barrier impairments, failures, and deviations and recommending appropriate corrective and mitigating actions.
- Developing and reviewing temporary and permanent well barrier restoration strategies.
- Reviewing well barrier status prior to and during production, well intervention, workover, completion, and other well-related activities.
- Ensuring well barrier documentation remains accurate, current, traceable, and technically justified.
- Providing technical assurance that well barrier requirements are understood and appropriately implemented by relevant stakeholders and service providers.
Well Integrity Surveillance and Monitoring:
- Establish and oversee effective well integrity surveillance and monitoring programs.
- Monitor well integrity performance using pressure data, inspection results, test results, production data, and other relevant surveillance information.
- Assess Sustained Casing Pressure (SCP), annulus pressure trends, pressure anomalies, and other indicators of potential integrity degradation.
- Review well integrity monitoring data and identify abnormal or changing well behavior.
- Evaluate pressure-testing, leak-testing, function-testing, and other integrity verification results.
- Define or recommend additional diagnostic activities where existing surveillance data are insufficient to establish well integrity status.
- Recommend appropriate mitigation, monitoring, or remediation measures based on identified integrity threats.
- Maintain accurate records of well integrity status, surveillance history, anomalies, and corrective actions.
- Ensure appropriate escalation of integrity concerns in accordance with Company requirements.
Wellhead and Christmas Tree Integrity:
- Reviewing wellhead and Christmas Tree inspection, maintenance, testing, and integrity management programs.
- Assessing equipment degradation, damage, failure mechanisms, and associated integrity risks.
- Reviewing wellhead maintenance requirements and recommending corrective or preventive actions.
- Providing technical input into pressure testing and functional testing programs.
- Assessing integrity implications associated with equipment modifications, repairs, degradation, or operational changes.
- Supporting the integrity management and periodic testing of tubing-retrievable subsurface safety valves (TRSCSSSVs) and associated safety-critical equipment.
- Ensuring identified wellhead and Christmas Tree integrity issues are appropriately assessed, documented, prioritized, and resolved.
Well Integrity Investigations and Failure Analysis:
- Leading engineering investigations of well integrity incidents, anomalies, and barrier failures.
- Evaluating available evidence and determining probable failure mechanisms and contributing factors.
- Conducting or facilitating Root Cause Analysis (RCA) where required.
- Developing technically sound and risk-based integrity remediation recommendations.
- Defining corrective and preventive actions and supporting their effective implementation.
- Documenting investigation findings, technical conclusions, and lessons learned.
- Ensuring relevant lessons learned are incorporated into well integrity standards, procedures, designs, and operating practices.
- Identifying recurring failure mechanisms and initiating appropriate improvement initiatives.
Integrity Risk Management and Technical Assurance:
- Lead and participate in Well Integrity Risk Assessments and other structured risk assessment activities.
- Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, Bowtie, What-If, and other risk assessment workshops where well integrity is relevant.
- Assess risks associated with well barrier impairment, equipment degradation, operating deviations, and changes to well operating conditions.
- Define and recommend risk reduction and mitigation measures.
- Provide technical justification for integrity-related deviations, exemptions, and temporary operating conditions.
- Participate in Management of Change (MoC) processes where changes may affect well integrity.
- Ensure integrity-related risks are appropriately documented, assessed, controlled, and communicated.
- Provide technical assurance that identified integrity risks are managed in accordance with the Company's risk management framework.
Multidisciplinary Engineering and Operational Support:

- Providing specialist technical advice on well integrity matters.
- Supporting development, implementation, and periodic review of Company well integrity standards, specifications, procedures, and guidelines.
- Providing technical assurance of integrity-related engineering and operational decisions.
- Reviewing and challenging technical proposals where appropriate to ensure integrity risks are adequately addressed.
- Supporting governance reviews, audits, assurance activities, and compliance assessments.

- Developing, maintaining, and monitoring Well Integrity Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

- Evaluating the effectiveness of existing integrity controls and recommending improvements.
